Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
RaceMates Connect is an early-access sim racing platform. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you join the early-access waitlist, you complete a Google Form that asks for your full name, your email address, your main role in sim racing (for example driver, team, engineer or organiser), the racing simulators you use, and, optionally, the features you are most interested in. We don't collect payment details, and this website doesn't use its own tracking or advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use your details to contact you about early access and launch updates for RaceMates Connect. We also use your answers about your role, simulators and feature interests to understand what early users need. We don't use your information for anything else.
Where it is stored
Form responses are collected and stored by Google (Google Forms and Google's related services), which may store data on servers outside Australia. Google's handling of data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don't share it with third parties, except the service providers we use to run the waitlist (such as Google) or where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, at any time by emailing Steve@racematesconnect.com. You can also unsubscribe from any email we send.
Contact and complaints
If you have a question or concern about privacy, email Steve@racematesconnect.com and we'll respond as soon as we can. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We may update this policy as RaceMates Connect develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
